Department of Nutrition
Educational Objectives
The mission of the YGU Faculty of Health and Nutrition is to contribute to the res publica by teaching nutrition and training personnel to be actively involved in fields relating to food and health. The Department of Nutrition provides training in skills enabling nutrition management intended to maintain or improve health and mitigate or prevent diseases in the fields of health, medicine, education, welfare, and nursing care. It focuses on training registered dietitians, and aims to educate by supporting resources that contribute to improving dietary habits and health in regional societies.
